Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use whole pickles?

Yes, for best results, whole pickles are a good idea. Large dill pickle spears may work, but they are going to be harder to get the cream cheese added. However, you are welcome to give it a shot and let us know how it turned out.

Can I use homemade pickles?

Yes, absolutely! It doesn’t matter if you use homemade pickles, flavored pickles, or large sweet pickles. The options are endless for this great snack!

Can I bake bacon wrapped pickles?

Yes, absolutely! Place the wrapped dill pickles on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until you have crispy bacon.

What kind of bacon do I need?

Any piece of bacon you like will work wonderfully! I prefer thick-cut bacon, but thin sliced bacon will cook faster. Additionally, you can use flavored bacon or even peppered bacon. The biggest thing is cooking them to crispy perfection before serving, regardless of what kind of bacon you use.
