🧅 Ingredients

  • Large or Jumbo Shrimp
  • Oil or butter of your choice
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Bell Peppers
  • Onions
  • Toppings of your choice
  • Flour Tortillas or serve as a fajita bowl as we did

⏲️ Instructions

Step 1: Add olive oil, butter, or avocado oil to the griddle using medium-high heat. Use your best judgment on the amount. If your Blackstone Griddle is seasoned well, you may not need as much. We usually use about 2 – 4 tablespoons.

Step 2: Once the oil is hot, add the onions and peppers. Toss to coat in oil. Make a mound of vegetables and top with a cooking dome. Use the spatula to flip until the veggies reach the desired texture. Once they reach the texture you like, keep them under the dome lid and turn down the heat to very low, so they stay warm but don’t continue to cook.

Step 3: Add more oil/butter to the Blackstone. Coat the shrimp with taco seasoning. Then add the shrimp to the oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip. The shrimp cooks FAST. Once the shrimp is pink combine with the veggies. Use the spatula to turn until everything is well combined then serve. Enjoy!

🌮 Recipe FAQs

What kind of toppings can I add?

Pretty much any type of taco topping you like will work. Here is a list of my favorites:

– Salsa
– Pico de Gallo
– Guacamole or Sliced Avocado
– Jalapenos
– Lime Slices
– Cheese
– Sour Cream
– Fresh Cilantro
– Rice

Do I eat the fajitas on taco shells or in a bowl?

We chose to eat them in a bowl because we are trying not to eat as many carbs. however, they are excellent on taco shells. You can buy them pre-made or whip up a batch of your favorite homemade tortillas.
