Tips For Making Chocolate Bowls

  • Only melt one color of melting chocolate at a time. Otherwise, they will cool too quickly and you won’t be able to use them all.
  • Don’t overheat the chocolate or it will pop the balloons. Once it’s close to melted, keep stirring it and it will finish melting.
  • Be super gentle when removing the balloons from the chocolate. If you go too fast, it will break the chocolate.
  • Don’t let the chocolate set up too long. The first batch I made I thought I needed to let it sit for a while so it set up really good. That backfired and made it almost impossible to get the balloons out. As soon as the chocolate is firm, get the balloons out right away.
  • Understand that you will probably break a few bowls. This is completely normal, so make sure to have some extra so you have enough.

Can I Serve Chocolate Bowls For Other Occasions?

Of course! You can easily use these chocolate bowls for birthday parties, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, or any other reason! Just adjust the colored chocolate to be what you want and fill them with yummy food.

How Do You Store The Easter Treats?

Keep them in an airtight container with a lid. They will last for a couple of weeks if they are empty. If they have popcorn or other food in them, then it will depend on what the food is on how long they will be good for. If they are made with popcorn, they last around 2 days.

Make sure to keep them away from the stove, oven, dishwasher, sunlight, or any other heat sources. Otherwise, they will melt and won’t hold up long.
