How To Make Blackstone Steak

Step 1: Butter the Blackstone Griddle

Turn on the Blackstone to medium high heat. Once hot, add butter and let it melt.

Step 3: Prep the Butter

Combine the butter, garlic, and parsley in a heat safe pan and place on the hot griddle. I have some individual sized cast iron skillets, that I LOVE for stuff like this!

Step 4: Rest and Serve

Flip the steak after the first side has a good sear. Season the second side and begin to add melted garlic butter. Once cooked to your preference, remove from the Blackstone and let rest for 5-10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Blackstone Griddle Steak Recipe Expert Tips

  • Room temperature – If time allows, start with room temperature steak. It will cook more evenly and tastes better too!
  • Any steak works – We used T-bones because it is what we had. You could also do KC Strip, Ribeye, or Filet Mingon, or anything else you like.
  • Skip the butter – If you aren’t a fan of garlic butter, it’s fine to omit! Olive oil also works or you can use your own concoction of seasonings and sauces.
  • Times will vary – No matter what steak you cook, the time is going to vary some. It’s going to depend on how you want the steak. We like ours medium.

How do I reheat leftover Blackstone Steak?

Steak is by far the best when eaten fresh. However, it’s worth reheating so you can avoid wasting an expensive cut of meat. For best results, add some butter to a cast iron skillet that has been heated to medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until it’s hot enough.
