Ingredients

  • 2 cans Peach Pie Filling 21 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 French vanilla cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter unsalted, sliced into pieces

Instructions

  • Add peach pie filling to the bottom of a baking dish. Spread it out evenly. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir well until the sugar is well incorporated.
  • Sprinkle the entire French vanilla cake mix on top of the peach mixture. Top with slices of cold butter. DO NOT STIR!!
  • Place in a preheated oven (350 degrees) and bake for 55 minutes. The top will be golden brown when it’s done. If the cake doesn’t seem cooked all the way through, bake for a few more minutes or until it’s done.

Notes

  • You can omit the brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla if you wish, but it will not taste the same. 
  • Feel free to swap the French vanilla cake mix for regular white or yellow cake mix. Spice cake mix will also work.
