Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 2 cups chocolate chips any variety, I used milk chocolate
  • 1 cup caramels melted
  • 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream add more cream for thinner caramel

Toppings, optional

  • crushed butterfingers
  • oreos
  • m&ms
  • nuts
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  • Wash apples with hot water and dry them. Then cut the apples into wedges or flat discs. If you’d like to add a stick, go ahead and add the stick to each apple slice or wedge.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for 30-second intervals and stir. When they are about 80 % melted, stir the rest of the way until smooth and creamy.
  • Then melt the caramels with heavy cream. Microwave for 15-second intervals and stir well. It melts fast, so keep that in mind.
  • I prefer to lay all the apple wedges out and drizzle the chocolate and caramel on top, but you can also dip it into the chocolate and caramel.
  • Add the toppings and let rest for 30 in the fridge. Serve right away and enjoy!

Notes

You can use any toppings that you like! Or omit them completely.
