  • 1 pound breakfast sausage divided into 4 patties
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 English Muffins
  • 4 slices American Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter or olive oil

  • Turn on the Blackstone Griddle to medium-high heat. Add a layer of butter to grease the griddle. Form the sausage into loose balls, and add to the hot griddle. Cook for 1-2 minutes, then press down hard with a spatula. This will smash the meat so it cooks fast and evenly.
  • Add lots of butter to the griddle again and let it melt. Add one whole egg at a time and cook until it starts to set up. Flip the egg over to finish cooking to desired doneness.
  • Add melted butter to the English muffins and toast on the flattop. You can toast them as long as you’d like, then flip and toast the other side.
  • Place one cooked sausage patty on the toasted English muffin, add an egg and top with a slice of cheese. Add the top of the English muffin and enjoy!

I fried eggs without egg rings, but you can certainly use them if desired.
You can cut back on calories by using a lower calorie sausage or cheese. Also light English muffins work too.
