- Colored Chocolate Melts – I use four different colors, but you could use any that you like.

- Balloons – Any color will work.
- Popcorn
- Sprinkles
- Any extra add-ins or Easter candy you want
How To Make Easter Chocolate Bowls With Popcorn
Once you get the hang of making the chocolate bowls, you will find that they are pretty easy. I will give you some tips shortly that will help you along the way.
First Step: Blow up balloons so they are the size of bowl you are wanting to make.
Second Step: Begin melting chocolate wafers. I just melted mine in the microwave and would stir it every 30 seconds until it was mostly melted. Then when there were just a few small chunks, I kept stirring until it finished melting.
Third Step: Dip the balloons into the melted chocolate. It just needs to completely cover the bottom of the balloon. Then place them on a piece of parchment paper to allow them to cool.
Fourth Step: While the chocolate is cooling, pop the popcorn and spread it out on a sheet pan. Drizzle leftover chocolate on the popcorn and top with your favorite sprinkles.
Fifth Step: Once the chocolate is set up, pop the balloons. Carefully, remove the balloon from the chocolate and you will end up with a bowl.
Sixth Step: Fill up the bowls with chocolate-covered popcorn or any of your favorite treats. Dig in and enjoy!
Tips For Making Chocolate Bowls
- Only melt one color of melting chocolate at a time. Otherwise, they will cool too quickly and you won’t be able to use them all.
- Don’t overheat the chocolate or it will pop the balloons. Once it’s close to melted, keep stirring it and it will finish melting.
- Be super gentle when removing the balloons from the chocolate. If you go too fast, it will break the chocolate.
- Don’t let the chocolate set up too long. The first batch I made I thought I needed to let it sit for a while so it set up really good. That backfired and made it almost impossible to get the balloons out. As soon as the chocolate is firm, get the balloons out right away.
- Understand that you will probably break a few bowls. This is completely normal, so make sure to have some extra so you have enough.
Can I Serve Chocolate Bowls For Other Occasions?
Of course! You can easily use these chocolate bowls for birthday parties, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, or any other reason! Just adjust the colored chocolate to be what you want and fill them with yummy food.
How Do You Store The Easter Treats?
Keep them in an airtight container with a lid. They will last for a couple of weeks if they are empty. If they have popcorn or other food in them, then it will depend on what the food is on how long they will be good for. If they are made with popcorn, they last around 2 days.
Make sure to keep them away from the stove, oven, dishwasher, sunlight, or any other heat sources. Otherwise, they will melt and won’t hold up long.
