Learn how to make No Churn Ice Cream with fresh blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries! It’s so easy and you don’t even need an ice cream machine to make it.
Y’all I am ADDICTED to ice cream. I literally love most flavors, and when I am not eating something with chocolate in it, you can bet money I will be munching on this triple berry no-churn ice cream.
The hardest part is waiting for this homemade ice cream to freeze up so you can devour it. Don’t worry, it goes fast and is so worth the wait.
🍓 Ingredients
You only need 6 ice cream ingredients! Can you believe that?
Yep, it’s that simple to throw together the best homemade ice cream recipe ever. Many recipes require egg yolks, but this one doesn’t! Let’s take a peek at what you will be needing:
- Pure vanilla extract
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Heavy whipping cream
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
🍦🍦 Directions
Once you learn the ice cream base, you will find htat you can make all sorts of flavors and combinations. Let’s take a look at the steps:
1. Begin by pouring the heavy whipping cream in a stand mixer. Whisk until you notice stiff peaks have developed. (you can also use a hand mixer if you’d rather.)
2. Put the berries in a blender or food processor and mix until they become liquidy. You are welcome to leave it a little chunky if that is the texture you prefer.
3. Fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla into the heavy cream. Turn on the mixer and whisk for 2-3 minutes to ensure the sweetened condensed milk mixture is well blended.
4. Gently fold in the fruit to the ice cream base. Lightly mix it and leave some streaks of berries.
5. Pour into a loaf pan and cover. Put in the freezer for 6 hours and enjoy!
⏲️ Storage
Store the no churn ice cream in the freezer for up to two weeks. The key is to ensure that it is kept frozen except when serving. Don’t store it in the door or it will thaw and refreeze as you open and close the freezer door.
🥄 Variations
Add in your favorite fruits, and other ingredients to give your homemade no churn ice cream so added flavor. Here are some of my favorite ideas.
- White Chocolate – Sprinkle in some white chocolate chips into the ice cream. What’s better than white chocolate and berries?
- Chocolate – Use some regular chocolate like milk or semi-sweet instead of white. It’s another delicious way to add a new element to your no churn ice cream.
- Blackberries – Add a few blackberries to the ice cream mixture. YUMMY! If you are offended by the seeds, you should strain the berries after turning them into liquid. This will get rid of those pesky seeds.
- Cherries – Use some tasty fresh cherries in the ice cream. They are beautiful and add flavor too.
- Almond Extract – Sometimes I get in the mood for almond flavor, so I will add in almond extract instead of vanilla. YUM!
📌 FAQs
Do I Need To Stir Ice Cream As It Freezes?
Nope! You can simply pour it into the loaf pan and forget it. No need to stir or anythign. It will freeze up in around six hours and then you can be enjoying it like crazy.
Will It Hold Up In A Cone?
Yep! I eat it in a cone all the time. Or you can put it in a bowl and enjoy it that way too. At our house we tend to go more for cones than bowls of ice cream, but it’s ICE CREAM so who cares! HAHA!
Can I Make It Low Fat?
No, you need all the fat possible in this recipe. It’s a game changer to give you the best creamy ice cream ever. If you don’t use heavy cream then you will end up with more of an icy dessert instead of ice cream.
