This Mocha Chocolate Keto Fat Bombs Recipe is fantastic for anyone who is eating low carb. They are decadent, rich, creamy and filled with chocolate, peanut butter, and coffee flavors. You can whip them up quickly and they are the perfect snack for days or even weeks.
Keto Treat Idea
I do not eat a low carb diet, however, I do enjoy many keto foods. Fat bombs are a fantastic snack when you have a sweet tooth like I do. Plus, because they are so satisfying and keep me full in between meals.
You don’t have to be on a keto diet to enjoy foods that are low carb. You will not go into ketosis if you are eating many carbs, but you can still enjoy the food.
These chocolate fat bombs are sugar free and are full of healthy fats. They are a rich snack when you are need something quick! Plus, keeping them in the freezer or fridge gives you a cool jolt of energy too.
Ingredients Needed
All you need is six ingredients and they are the BOMB! (pun intended) 🙂 For real, these chocolate peanut butter fat bombs are so yummy.
- Cream cheese (softened)
- Granulated Swerve (or sweetener of choice)
- Instant Coffee
- Creamy peanut butter
- Sugar-free chocolate chips
- Cocoa
Directions
As I mentioned earlier, these cream cheese fat bombs are so simple to make. They are chocolaty and delicious too. Here are the quick and easy steps:
First Step: Mix together the peanut butter, instant coffee, softened cream cheese, cocoa powder, keto-friendly sweetener, and sugar-free chocolate chips together.
Second Step: After the fat bomb ingredients are mixed well, form balls using your hands or a cookie scoop. Place them fat bombs on a parchment paper-lined sheet.
Third Step: Mix one tablespoon of peanut butter with two tablespoons of sugar-free chocolate chips. Place them in a microwave for 20 seconds intervals. Be sure to stir well after every 20 seconds. Once it’s melted completely drizzle on top of the mocha fat bombs.
Fourth Step: Place the fat bombs in the freezer for 30 minutes – 1 hour. After they are frozen remove them from the pan and place them in a bag or storage container.
Storage
Keep the chocolate fat bombs in the freezer for 2-3 months. You can thaw them or eat them frozen. They can also be placed in the fridge for 1 week if you want to eat them sooner.
Variations
There are many many ingredients you can add to these keto fat bombs. I wanted to give you some ideas to try:
- Regular Chocolate – If you aren’t into eating sweetener, you can use regular semi-sweet chocolate instead of sugar-free if you want.
- Nuts – Add some pecans, walnuts, macadamia nuts, or almonds to the fat bombs. They are best if they are chopped up instead of whole.
- Coconut – Roll the bombs in unsweetened coconut. It’s a lovely flavor!
- Nut Butter – You can swap out the peanut butter for almond butter, or cashew butter.
