✂️ Supplies
- Buffalo Plaid Wired Ribbon 1.5″ Wide
- Berry Floral Pick
- 8-inch Twig (real or artificial)
- Jute String
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue
🎄 Directions
- Begin by cutting the plaid ribbon into (3) 9-inch strips, (3) 8-inch strips, (3) 7-inch strips, and (1) 6-inch strips.
- Next, you’ll need to tie the ribbons loosely so they are in knots. You’ll need to arrange the ribbons so the side that looks pretty is all facing the same direction.
- Then add one of the 8-inch ribbons in the center of the twig. Add the shorter ribbons above it and the longer ribbons underneath it to shape it into a tree. Tighten the knots so the ribbons don’t slide off the twig.
- Use sharp scissors and trim the sides of the ribbons so they are even.
- Take the jute string and cut it so it’s around 7 inches. Add some hot glue to the jute and add it to the top of the twig.
- Form the jute so it’s a hanger and form a loop at the top. Use hot-glue to affix the ribbon to the twig properly.
- Add the red berries to the ornament and attach them with hot glue.
- If needed, trim the ribbons a little more. Let them dry for 30 minutes – 1 hour and then you can begin decorating them.
