Ingredients
- Honey Biscuits
- - 2 3/4 Cups Flour
- - 1/2 tsp baking soda
- - 1 tbsp baking powder
- - dash of salt
- - 4 ounces cream cheese, cold
- - 4 tbsp butter, cold
- Honey Butter Glaze
- - 1 1/2 sticks Butter
- - 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Turn on the oven to 450 degrees.
- Add parchment paper to a baking sheet.
- Combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter and cream cheese using a pastry blender or two forks. Mix until there are pea sized chunks.
- Pour in the buttermilk and stir gently until combined. The dough is going to seem dry and crumbly at this point.
- Place the biscuit dough on the counter and knead it until in a ball. Roll out to 3/4 inch thick. Cut 8 biscuits.
- Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Combine the butter and honey in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until the butter is melted.
- Brush the biscuits with honey butter glaze as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Serve with extra honey butter glaze and enjoy!
Notes
Biscuits last 1-2 days at room temperature. Store airtight.
