FAQs

Can you make air fryer pizza with premade crust ahead?

Yes, you can assemble the pizzas ahead of time, but don’t cook them. Then place the pizzas in the freezer on a baking sheet. Once frozen, wrap with plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag. Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.

When you are ready to cook, remove the plastic wrap and cook in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and it’s hot all the way through.

How do you stop pepperoni from flying all over when cooking?

Adding the pepperoni on top, will cause it to fly around in the air fryer. To prevent this, place the pepperoni under the cheese or add some toothpicks to keep it in place.

I don’t mind that it flies around, so I simply check it halfway through and use tongs to move the pepperoni where I want it. But it’s totally your call.

How do you store leftover air fryer pizza?

After the air fryer pizza with premade crust has cooled down all the way, place it in a food storage container. It will last in the fridge for 2-4 days.

Reheat pizza in the air fryer for 2-4 minutes or until it’s hot.
