🎄 Materials
You only need 5 materials to make these DIY Christmas ornaments!
🎁 Instructions:
- Measure ribbon so you have seven pieces. They should be the same length and cut. Put each of the ribbons face down on the table. It’s important to make sure all the ribbons are touching each other as they are on the table.
- Drizzle some glue to the side of the popsicle stick and put it on top of the ribbon pieces. Press the ribbons firmly on the stick to secure them in place.
- Using a pair of sharp scissors, cut the pieces of ribbon at an angle. You will need to make sure the ribbons decrease in size. The ribbons should resemble a tree as you cut toward the top of the tree. Repeat the same process on the other side of the ribbons.
- Glue a foam star sticker on the top of the diy christmas ornaments.
- Carefully turn over the tree and secure it with a ribbon loop to the backside. This is the ornament hanger.
📌 FAQs
Can I use different ribbons?
Yep! You can swap the ribbons and popsicle sticks to match your theme. I think blue and white would be so pretty. Have fun with it and be sure to show us some photos of your finished product.
Do these ornaments make good gifts?
Certainly! Who doesn’t love to receive something homemade? If you are including another gift, you can attach them to the packaging. Or give them to neighbors, teachers, and friends as a special and thoughtful holiday present.
