Step 1: Whisk the heavy cream in a stand mixer until stiff peaks form. Start a low speed and work your way up to high speed for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 2: Mix in the pure vanilla extract, vodka, and sweetened condensed milk. Fold it in very gently so it doesn’t cause the heavy cream to collapse.

Step 3: Fold in the chocolate chips, graham crackers, and marshmallows. Drizzle in the marshmallow ice cream topping. Gently mix. Pour into a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap.

Step 4: Freeze for 12 – 24 hours.

Step 5: Add toppings, serve, and enjoy!

Tips & Helpful Information

  • If serving to children, don’t add the vodka. The purpose is to keep the texture more smooth instead of harder.
  • Let the ice cream sit for 10 minutes before serving.
  • For a deep chocolate flavor, chop up candy bars and mix in, then drizzle some hot fudge sauce before freezing.

FAQs

How long does ice cream last?

Covered tightly it will last 2-3 weeks in the freezer.

Can I use different alcohol?

Yes! Kaluha, Bailey’s or RumChata, would be pretty tasty ideas. They won’t add a lot of flavor and will keep the ice cream smooth.

Can kids eat ice cream if I add vodka?

While you are only adding 1-2 tablespoons for the entire batch, I don’t recommend letting kids eat the ice cream if you add the vodka. Instead, skip it when children are going to be eating it.
