How To Make Homemade Pigs In Blankets

Step 1: Prepare the dough

Mix together the yeast and water and let bloom for 10 minutes.

Add sugar, oil, salt, and 2 cups flour. Mix with a stand mixer with dough attachment until combined. Knead for 7-8 minutes or until the dough pulls away from the sides and forms a ball.

Step 2: Raise dough

Lightly grease the dough with oil. Cover and put the dough in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.

Pro Tip: To speed up raising the dough, place the dough ball in your Instant Pot on the yogurt setting. Cover with a plate or lid and let raise until doubled.
